We provide drone-based residential solar inspection services using high-resolution RGB imagery and thermal imaging. Our inspections are designed to help homeowners better understand the visible and thermal condition of their solar panel system.

Solar issues are not always obvious from the ground. A panel may look normal but still show abnormal heating, damage, shading problems, soiling, or other conditions that may affect system performance. Drone inspections allow us to safely document the array from above and provide useful images that can help guide the next step.

    The Basic Residential Solar Check focuses on visible problem areas and thermal images of suspected damage only. This option is best when you already know where the issue is, recently noticed visible panel damage, or need basic documentation after weather, roof work, or another event.

    This inspection may include:

    • RGB images of visible damage

    • Thermal images of obvious concern areas

    • Basic notes on observed issues

    • Simple documentation for homeowner records

    This option is not intended to provide a panel-by-panel review of the entire system.

  • Our Standard Residential Solar Inspection is the best option for most homeowners. This inspection includes RGB and thermal images of each accessible solar panel, giving you a clearer panel-by-panel view of the system.

    This inspection can help document visible damage, abnormal heating, soiling, shading concerns, panel-level issues, or other conditions that may affect solar performance or require follow-up by a solar contractor or qualified electrician.

    This inspection may include:

    • RGB images of each accessible panel

    • Thermal images of each accessible panel

    • Documentation of visible or thermal concerns

    • Basic finding summary

    • Recommended next steps when concerns are observed

    This option is a good choice if you are concerned about reduced production, recent storm damage, possible panel problems, or simply want a clearer understanding of your system’s condition.

  • This option is for larger homes, multiple roof faces, detached structures, ground-mounted systems, or solar arrays located in different areas of the property.

    Large or complex systems require more time, more image organization, and more detailed documentation due to size, layout, or access complexity. This option is best when the system cannot be easily inspected as one simple roof-mounted array.

    This inspection may include:

    • Multiple array locations

    • Multiple roof faces or structures

    • RGB and thermal image sets by array area

    • Organized documentation of findings

    • Additional flight time and report preparation

  • A custom inspection is available for solar projects that do not fit the standard packages.
